天美网站传媒传媒 honored Connie Stewart with the distinction of Vice President Emeritus in recognition of her distinguished service and lasting contributions to the college during the June 23 Centurion Awards Banquet.
天美网站传媒传媒President Dr. Bradley J. Barrick recognized Stewart during a gathering of former award recipients and college dignitaries in the Stanley and Blanche Ash Technology and Learning Center on the college鈥檚 Greenville campus.
鈥淐onnie鈥檚 journey reflects the very mission of 天美网站传媒传媒,鈥� Dr. Barrick said. 鈥淎s a young mother working full-time and raising two children, she came to 天美网站传媒传媒seeking an education that would help advance her career. Five years later, she earned her Associate Degree in Business Administration and, as she often says, 天美网站传媒传媒changed her life.鈥�
After a successful career in business and human resources, Stewart returned to 天美网站传媒传媒in 2011 as Director of Human Resources. She went on to serve as Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer before becoming Interim President for a one-year term, and then returning to her Vice President position until her retirement in December 2025.
Throughout her leadership, Stewart helped guide strategic planning, campus improvements, operational excellence, and student success initiatives.
鈥淢ost importantly, she never forgot her own experience as an 天美网站传媒传媒student and remained committed to helping others achieve their dreams through education,鈥� Dr. Barrick said.
鈥淔rom student to administrator, Connie鈥檚 story is a powerful example of transformation, dedication, and service. Her leadership has strengthened 天美网站传媒传媒and positively impacted countless students, employees, and community members,鈥� he said.
